Allied Environmental Services – COVID-19 Operations Update

To all our customers, vendors and industry colleagues:

This statement is intended to inform you, as an Allied customer, vendor or colleague, of our current operating status and company policies during the ongoing COVID-19 virus pandemic.

As you are likely aware, the Governor of New York state has issued a “NY State on Pause” order and the Director of the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has issued a "Stay at Home" order in response to the coronavirus (Covid-19).  Both directives serve to eliminate non-essential gatherings and business operations to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  As Allied Environmental Services operates offices in Ohio and New York state, we wanted to update our customers on how this order impacts us.

Allied Environmental Services, Inc. qualifies as an essential business and will continue to provide our full range of industrial cleaning and maintenance services, and environmental field services under the current state directives.

Our primary goal is to provide services to our customers while taking all necessary precautions to keep our employees and our customers safe and inhibit the spread of the virus.  Allied is proactively taking measures to minimize potential risks associated with COVID-19, including adherence to recommendations provided by state and local departments of health and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).  Allied will continue to monitor changes in these operating recommendations and make adjustments as necessary.

Regarding COVID-19 Pandemic Response/Facility Disinfection Services:

Several customers have asked if Allied is currently providing emergency decontamination and facility disinfection services specific to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Allied is not currently providing these services.  After evaluation of Allied’s current training/experience/resources and insurance coverages, we do not feel we can adequately meet requirements for a pandemic response.  We are currently evaluating what steps might be taken for us to achieve necessary proficiency and liability protections to allow us to offer such services in the future.   We will notify our customers if we begin to offer such services.
