(ARCHBOLD, OHIO)
On December 8, 2012, Allied took part in the 2nd annual Northwest Ohio Hazmat Conference at Northwest State Community College in Archbold, Ohio.
Organized and sponsored by the Local Emergency Planning Commissions of Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Williams and Wood Counties of Ohio, this year’s conference provided instruction regarding emergency response to chemical releases, train derailments, meth labs and associated hazards. Educational workshops were presented by representatives of regional industry, EPA, FBI and EMA offices. Attendees included members of local fire departments, first response units, emergency management agencies, rescue personnel, and emergency responders.
Allied is proud to have been a part of this informative and well-received conference and we look forward to participating next year!
