LIMA, OH – Continuing with planned and sustained growth, Allied Environmental Services, Inc. (Allied) recently announced that it has obtained a license to provide asbestos assessment and abatement services within the state of Indiana.
Allied has been providing expert asbestos management and removal services to Ohio-based customers for over 24 years. In recent years, Allied’s client base has grown to include numerous customers with facilities/properties located in Indiana. According to Rob Gillen, Allied Asbestos Abatement Manager, obtaining the Indiana license allows Allied to better serve its Midwestern clients.
“In the past, we would subcontract these services or partner with an Indiana-approved firm whenever a client requested asbestos services in Indiana”, stated Gillen. “However, as client demand for these services increased, it became obvious that Allied should become an Indiana approved asbestos contractor and provide all services in-house”, Gillen continued. The ability to provide all-inclusive asbestos management services in Indiana and Ohio allows Allied to deliver more responsive and cost-effective services to its interstate clients.
Allied’s continued growth allowed the company to establish a Toledo-area office in March 2011. According to Gillen, Allied also plans to obtain a contractor’s license to provide asbestos abatement services in the state of Michigan. Michigan-based clients will then be serviced from Allied’s Toledo office. “Many of our clients have facilities in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. Our Lima and Toledo offices allow Allied be extremely responsive throughout the tri-state area”, Gillen stated.
